Welcome to the BBQPortal.org web site. I created this site with the intent of (a) consolidating information regarding my capabilities as a qualified, experienced and Certified Contest Representative, (b) provide "Intermediation sites" for contests that have political or functional restrictions on managing the content related to their contests on their own [typically parent organization] website, and (c) to provide additional information and quotation capability for new organizers at new contests along the eastern U.S. coastal states,thereby providing clear access to event documents of interest to cooking teams, judges and others involved with, or interested in attending, the event.
In the table below, you will have an option to use the Portal to get information from the official site of the event or to get the information from this site. In all cases, the information on the official site takes precedent.
From a practical point of view, the site is really a tool that I developed to allow me to manage or reference current contests in which I am either a principal (providing Rep or judging services) or of personal interest.
